Some of the sites used for the Challenge Events also offer themselves for further off roading skill development, allowing you to gain an understanding of what your vehicle can do, all while having a thoroughly enjoyable day out. These days are aimed at a more social level than the competitive Challenge Events and consist of a typical days convoy driving from 10:30 to 15:30/16:00 hours around private farm land.

On previous outings attendees have thoroughly enjoyed themselves tackling a wide variety of terrain, including deep water (over the bonnet), varied water driving, some deep mud and ruts, fantastic wooded driving sections and excellent assorted ascents/descents. The terrain is designed to help you develop your driving skill whilst gaining confidence in your vehicles ability, knowing that you have the backup of other vehicles and expertise should you require it. To get a flavour of the terrain you may encounter, please watch the following video, take a look at the pictures at the bottom of the pages and visit the reports page.

Please note there is a possibility of minor body damage, and that some winching may be required. All sections are optional and can be bypassed. The day is a drive around day with the emphasis on driving rather than having to winch through sections (there are no long bogs for example).

Drive Round Days are either organised on "as requested" basis or published on the diary page, please note to attend a your vehicle must meet these requirements. To book a place, if you want to arrange a Drive Round Day, have questions about the requirements, or just want to find out whether they are for you please do not hesitate to contact us.
